My paintings are all about the surrounding world I have been experiencing for a long time. The lifespan of rural inhabitants is quite easy and monotonous, however, I always look after something lofty behind the tedious life.
Here, in everyday life, I see the hard work of farmers. I know them well since I have a long-term relationship. I see how they spend their everyday life. They give labor of planting seeds, tending to crops, and harvesting the fruits of their labor. They spend countless hours battling pests, diseases, and unpredictable weather that are out of my ability. They also think of the financial worries that constantly plague minds, the fear of crop failures, and the ever-increasing cost of supplies. But despite all the hardships and challenges, they know their work is essential. They understand the responsibility for providing food for his family and countless others. And so, he continues to toil, day after day, year after year, with an unwavering determination that keeps our country going. So, it's a cultivation of life.
When I return home after walking a long in evening, the sun, a blazing ball of fire, slowly descends toward the horizon, casting long shadows across the sprawling fields. In the distance, a lone farmer makes his way home, his silhouette etched against the golden sky. His weary steps match the slow, plodding pace of his cows, their heads bowed in exhaustion.
I can imagine what's in the mind of that farmer. The farmer's face is lined with deep wrinkles, each one a testament to a life of toil and struggle that he did for us, for our country. We can forget them, but he cannot. The painting is just a glimpse of the moment we should not forget.
