My recent painting is about a mythological character named ‘Ganesh’, also a great choice for Indian artists as a subject. Here, I would like to say a bit about the painting of Lord Ganesh.
Lord Ganesha, one of the most beloved and widely worshipped deities in Hinduism, is often depicted as a cheerful elephant-headed God. He is known as the "Remover of Obstacles" and is invoked at the beginning of any new venture or undertaking.
The elephant head of Lord Ganesh symbolizes wisdom, intelligence, and the ability to overcome obstacles. The broken tusk represents the power of overcoming challenges and turning adversity into opportunity. In my painting, I showed Laddoo (a kind of sweet), the favorite of the Lord. It’s a sweet Indian delicacy, representing life's sweetness and the enjoyment of earthly pleasures. Worshipping to Lord Ganesh makes you clear away any hurdles that may arise in one's path. Ganesha is considered the god of wisdom and is prayed to for success in academics and intellectual pursuits. He is believed to bring wealth, abundance, and material success. The Lord Ganesha is seen as a powerful protector and is invoked for safety and security.
Here is a demonstration of the painting in a room view. You can understand, how it will look on your wall.
In my painting, I have shown the virtues of the Lord I described with a pleasant and calming style. I am eager to get some feedback on this painting. Feel free to share your insides that I understand how it comes to your senses. Thank you.
