God of this mortal world

I recently finished a painting, which I titled Lakshmi. Why did I do so? Who is Lakshmi?

Lakshmi is a Hindu goddess considered the deity of prosperity, edible, and wealth. She is the power of Lord Narayana, nourishing this infinite mundane life by providing food and wealth. But from a terrestrial perspective, we see those farmers serve the most strenuous exertion to provide foodstuffs. In the extensive sunlight or haphazard rain, they work yearlong consistently in open fields without interruption.

In my wisdom, I found Maa Lakshmi and her enormous power in those farmers produce several foods yearlong to make us exist, and that's why I consider them the God of this mortal world.

In the interior area of Bengal, I often see farmers working hard in the cornfields, and such an experience motivated me to express what I felt on canvas.

Meanwhile, I would like to share some good stuff. In the first half of this year, I got the Kala Gaurav Samman Award from the Kalaratnam Foundation of Utter Pradesh for the painting titled "Spring." I am thankful to the organizer for considering my work to their standard. Such recognition always inspires me to go confidently. I am glad to share the award here, -
