A Creative Initiative for Alzheimer’s

From my perspective, the true intention of an artist extends beyond merely creating something driven by their personal emotions or thoughts. Unless a creation conveys a profound meaning, transcending a superficial desire, an artwork remains merely a showpiece intended for entertainment. Previously, one of my paintings was utilized in the recovery of mental health patients in the Texas area. My artwork is currently involved in the therapeutic recovery of Alzheimer’s patients in the Netherlands once again.
Postcard Art Exhibit, formerly known as "Twitter Art Exhibit", is an annual international showcase of hundreds of postcard-sized original artworks created by artists from around the world. The founder of PAE is David Sandum, who organizes the event with his dedicated team each year in several parts of the world. The motive of PAE is to help patients recover in a creative way that can change the perspective on happiness through an artistic approach. The language of art is universal, and it can speak without limitation, and with such a creative initiative for Alzheimer’s patients, the dream will come true.
This year marks a truly heartwarming endeavor, as David put forth a worldwide request to artists, urging them to contribute an artwork for a profoundly noble cause: providing support and comfort to patients battling Alzheimer's disease. I was honored and deeply moved to donate one of my paintings to the initiative, specifically to the organization PAE.

I wholeheartedly appreciate and champion such initiatives. The potential for my simple drawing to act as a spark—a catalyst capable of igniting a flicker of recognition or a long-lost memory in the mind of an unknown friend—is an incredibly moving thought. It is in these moments of selfless creation and sharing that the true spirit of humanity shines brightest. It is my deepest hope and prayer that the world will continue to progress on this path, forever guided by the sublime and unfathomable beauty inherent in creation itself.

The personal satisfaction derived from this contribution is immense. To contemplate that I am the first Indian artist to join this beautiful and meaningful path is a source of immense pride. In a world too often shadowed by the darkness and despair of conflict and war, this initiative represents a distinct and brilliant touch of light—a reminder that empathy, art, and the human spirit can always find a way to connect and heal. This collective effort is a powerful testament to the enduring hope for a brighter, more compassionate future.
Would you like to help those innocent Alzheimer’s patients in such a creative way? Contact me, and I'll notify you when the exhibition is up and running in the Netherlands and online portal.
