Love Throughout Diversity

In human society, we exhibit many differences across various aspects, including social structures, cultures, languages, and more. This diversity creates an unmatched beauty. I view India as a mini-world, comprising numerous languages, cultures, traditional attire, and culinary variations. Each state's culture is distinct from that of other states. Yet, at the core, we are all Indians.
Similarly, in our global society, we share many experiences akin to those in India. There are numerous countries, each with its own cultures, languages, dress codes, philosophical perspectives, and even time zones. Ultimately, we are all citizens of a global village, and this planet belongs to all of us.

In my recently completed painting, I was inspired by the concept of unity amidst diversity. The sea of abstract geometric faces, all in uniform, muted colors, represents the masses and conformity—a society where individuality is suppressed or overlooked. In contrast, the select few faces in blue, yellow, and purple evoke a strong sense of "otherness." They stand out from the norm, subtly conveying the experience of being different within a larger collective. They whisper something precious. Using this entire composition as the background suggests that the central act of unity (the hands) is happening within or in front of this societal context, proudly says that we have only one identity; we are the citizens of this Globe and spreading our love to all the citizens. It's a love throughout the diversity of us.
