Amar Singha’s modern art has been celebrated in a number of art galleries and institutes and featured in magazines across the world, namely the Google Art & Culture/ Google Book, Bluebee magazine, and so on. In 2019, he was appointed as an ambassador for Artdex’s Art-World. Singha has been recognized for his award-winning blog dispatches making ancient Indian art/culture, history, music, and sculpture accessible to a contemporary audience. Singha has also authored several books on ancient Indian art and sculpture, including Ajanta Cave Painting, The Inside of Indian Sculpture (2020). Beyond painting, Singha has a passion for photography, design, and music. He remains posted up and painting non-stop in his hometown studio in Raghunathganj, West Bengal.
